  • 2000 September 13 to October 1. Participant with E. Firing on the R/V Kaiyo Tropical Ocean Climate Study cruise to the western equatorial Pacific and Mindanao Current region.(Kavieng, PNG to Palau). Chief Scientist, Yuji Kashino (JAMSTEC). Purpose: TRITON buoy maintenance, hydrography, shipboard/lowered acoustic Doppler current profiling in the western equatorial Pacific.
