ABSTRACT

 

Presented are the results of the June 2010 field trip to Kamilo Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. The beach, located 6 miles east of the South Point, is known for its high rate of debris accumulation. Collected samples and observations are used to discuss processes that are controlling deposition of debris on Hawaiian shores.
